On Friday, January 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., as part of Agrivolt-ER, a project co-financed by the PR FESR Emilia-Romagna – 2021–2027 Programme, Action 1.1.2, AGRIPV LAB – Experimental Agrivoltaic Park opened its facilities to participants of the ITS course “Agriculture 4.0 and Sustainability of Cropping Systems” from Accademia Symposium of Rodengo Saiano, offering an immersive experience within a real research and experimentation environment.
Walking through an agrivoltaic park and observing firsthand the interaction between soil, crops, data, machinery, and energy production means entering a dimension where education is no longer just theory, but becomes vision, methodology, and awareness.
The visit continued with a technical classroom session led by Stefano Amaducci, President of Citimap scarl and Full Professor at the Faculty of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, who guided the students toward a deeper understanding of the techniques and solutions adopted.
Experiences like this help to develop professionals capable of operating across precision agriculture, data management, advanced mechanization, and renewable energy, giving substance to roles that are increasingly central to innovation and sustainability processes in the agri-food and agri-energy sectors.
AGRIPV LAB – Experimental Agrivoltaic Park thus confirms itself as a place where education, research, and experimentation come together, offering future professionals concrete tools to understand and support change.
